LEMUR

ENFASYS is a company derived from the research of the LEMUR group of the University of Oviedo. The LEMUR group is a multidisciplinary research team with researchers belonging to different areas of knowledge within the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Oviedo: Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics and Automation and Control Engineering. Its strength is based on the synergies and integration of knowledge among the members of the team, incorporating a holistic vision in complex research projects. There are various lines of work in the research group, many of which are closely related to ENFASYS developments:

Analysis, modelling and design of power converter topologies. Design of power electronics converters with emphasis on multi-port topologies for energy storage applications.

Dynamic analysis and control of grid-connected power converters. Power converter control systems for distributed resource integration and microgrid control.

Real-time monitoring, management and operation of distribution systems. Energy Internet, Big-data and IoT applications.

ENFASYS has numerous contacts thanks to the collaborations established by the LEMUR research group, facilitating access to industrial and energy sector companies of international relevance, with whom they have contacts and who are interested in the technology:

It should also be noted that the LEMUR team participates in European projects related to the technology marketed by ENFASYS, such as the TALENT project: “COST EFFECTIVE TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENTS FOR ACCELERATING ENERGY TRANSITION” UE-19-TALENT-864459. For this reason, it is particularly relevant that part of this team is part of the “external scientific advisory board” as well as being partners and co-founders of this board.
