A prototype in the field of intelligent mobility.
Last Thursday 25th, the first installation that incorporates our platform was inaugurated. It is a facility with solar generation, battery storage and 2 charging points for electric vehicles.
Although it is a relatively small installation, it is a big step for the company, as it allows us to have a real reference that can be used to show future customers some of the potential of our system.
The Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre, the electrical systems integrator Irulezo, the Lortek technology centre and the Oarsoaldea regional development agency, with the support of the Department of Economic Promotion, Tourism and Rural Affairs of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa as part of the Smart Mobility Industry 2020 programme, have launched the E-Don Bosco project.
E-Don Bosco is a pilot project for experimenting with a modular and intelligent system for accumulating energy in reusable batteries and managing vehicle recharging in which both the teaching staff and students of CIFP Don Bosco will have a replicable and scalable test bench.
The 12-month project aims to generate and transfer knowledge in the field of electromobility, intelligent energy storage, renewable energies and the circular economy through the comparative use of new and used "second life" solar-powered vehicle batteries.
